The event will be held in the East Tawas Harbor Park, on the corner of US-23 and Newman Street. Tawas - Uncork'd & Untap'd, a Friends of the East Tawas Library benefit to raise funds for a new library, will bring Michigan wine, Michigan ales, food and mellow music to the Sunrise Side. The event will feature ten Michigan vintners, 9 area restaurants and three Michigan breweries. Jazz saxophonist Joel Sheltrown and folk guitarist Ted Waslewski will provide musical entertainment. Tawas St. Joseph Hospital will host the second annual Grape Stomp. Teams of two stompers challenge one another to the cheers of the crowd. Tickets are $12 and available at the door.
